Selamat Hari Raya ...

Yes, before I forget. (tengah sibuk tahap babun ... )

Driving Tips ...

· Do a pre-trip inspection on your car one day prior to your planned departure; check the brakes, belts, lubricating and cooling systems, A/Cond and tyres pressure including spare tyre.

· Drive defensively; driving in such a way to prevent accidents in spite of the action of others and despite the presence of adverse conditions.

· Drive with courtesy. Live up to the spirit of goodwill and caring spirit. Yield our right of way if it is to prevent an accident.

· Apply the standard accident prevention formula; seeing the hazard, understanding the defense and acting on time.

· Overtaking is a risky maneuver; Decide if overtaking is necessary, if yes, do it smoothly, skillfully and thoughtfully.

· Take a break every 2 hours, if it is not possible then wind down windows for a few minutes to let in fresh air. Ever notice why children and older person feel sleepy while in a car, due to lack of oxygen, with respect to time.

· Be mindful of the reduced speed limit imposed. Driving 20 kph above safe driving speed limit might give us 10 minutes lead time in a one hour trip, but it could cost us a tragedy. Leave 10 minutes earlier and live longer. (I like this one...)

Driving defensively is a proactive way of ensuring a safe and pleasant journey.

Powerman ...

Ini paling busuk kaw2 punya target time ...

1st 10 = 56 min
Bike 60 = 2.40 mins
2nd 10 = 1.06 mins

Total = 4.42 mins ... alah cing cai kasi 4.45mins. eee scary ... my buffer only 15 mins ooo.

If can do it below 4.30mins, I will be a very happy man... for now. I really got to work on my bike if want to inprove gila2 ... tak pe sifu Fouzi ade. The ultimate dream is to bring that bike time to 2 hours and finish sub 4 hours. perghh ... InshaAllah ... (I was looking at last year's result and most people buat sub 2 hours for cycling. It is actually rare to see someone do even 2.30 mins ... biar betoi ...!!!!)

BTW, last week end finally managed to replace my handle at a bicycle shop in Tmn Melawati. Total cost RM70 + the tape RM15 = RM 85. Then bought chain oil RM12. Total Total = RM 97. Nasib baik ada Mister Master Card, zaasss je ...

While the guys were changing, noticed that the seat also sudah bengkok ... patutlah bontot sakit for a week! This gone cost me another RM100 kot ...

You got to pay to torture yourself ...

Training resumes ...

Before puasa i had no intention to train what so ever. Somehow my my mind shut off the idea of doing any running or cycling ...

It all changed last night ... I RAN.

And i must thank all the monyets for this ... (I think I have offended Azwar when asked him to cycle one "last time" before posa) I was so naive that I assumed no one can train during ramadhan ... This is a sin and I seek forgiveness ... and now I have joined you insane people ...

There must be a couple of cars slowed down to have a look at this mad man running yesterday ...
... they must be saying ... GILA PUNYA ORANG!!! TAKDA KERJA KA!!!!
